Johnny Laín

I'm a Houston-based contemporary artist whose work is inspired by people, culture, and the stories that connect us. Through bold colors, expressive shapes, and layered textures, I create paintings that celebrate identity, emotion, and human connection.

Originally from Venezuela and shaped by years living in Spain, my experiences influence the way I see the world and the way I create. Every painting is an opportunity to tell a story without saying a word.

When I'm not in the studio, I teach high school art, where I encourage the next generation of artists to explore their creativity with confidence. Whether I'm creating a new collection, painting live at community events, or leading painting sessions for kids and adults, my goal is always the same, to create art that brings people together.
